Operations: Lots of general and training Ops running. TFB NiM progress is being made, we got to the second boss and we are meeting again this week and expect to get to Operator IX 🙂
Progression Teams: Tyri (Chris) has taken over as manager for Team Besh with Alrex acting as raid leader. Due to some shifts they have slots open for main and alternate roles. At this time they are not requesting any specific classes but they need a Main Healer and two DPS. The current schedule is Tues and Thurs nights, see the website for details
Cartel Market stuff: The Zakuul Armor set will be available to buy starting Aug 18th
Patch notes 3.3.1 are up: Linked here on Dulfy
-Bounty Contract week starts Aug 18
– decorations you have obtained through cartel market can be donated to the guild stronghold/ship and there will be a cost associated with it, we assume this means you can unlock it for yourself then donate a copy, like with speeders
-Yavin SH changes (which chat you’re in when you’re in your yavin SH, where you show no longer in “space” but on Yavin 4, and hook changes)
-Companion helmets will now appropriately be hidden in cutscenes if you have their head slot hidden
Dev Post about Legacy Datacrons
|Datacrons Are For Legacies | 08.11.2015, 08:48 AM|
I wanted to pass on a little tidbit that I heard this morning. We are very actively looking to put Legacy-wide Datacrons into Knights of the Fallen Empire! We know this has been widely requested for many years and so the Design team is working as we speak to get it in.
As always, this is not a guarantee that it will make it in, but the team is hard at work to make it happen .
Gamescon met in Germany earlier this month and featured a new SWTOR trailer and there was a Community Cantina with Q &A:

Cantina Q&A Linked here from Dulfy
A couple highlights from the Q & A:
Ben Scott was asked whether the collection will get a search function. His response was that he is not allowed to answer this now, but there will be changes.
Primary stats will be removed ( strength. willpower, etc ) and a new stat will become main stats for every class, called “mastery”, they are going to adjust all the stats mechanics /gear.
We got the weirdest message on our voice mail… you will want to listen to it yourself on the podcast 🙂

Passionately Casual Tip of the Week: Benefits of Legacy gear
Legacy gear is a special type of armor and weapons that are transferable among your own legacy characters. This allows you to buy gear and fill it with mods, armors, enhancements and so forth and then mail it to one of your other toons (or put it into Legacy storage.) You can buy Legacy gear mostly from Reputation Vendors (Planet Rep, Events such as Gree, Bounty Contract, etc.) and if you were a sub when GSF came out, you have a full set of pilot gear on each toon you make, too.)
Legacy gear (Bind-to-Legacy) allows you to:
- move bound mods, armorings and enhancements
- utilize commendations not being used by a high lvl toon (lots of basic comms on a level 60? why not use those to legacy over gear for your baby alt?)
- Use one set of gear for two mirror toons (like a Sorc and a Sage, for example) using both character’s comms to fill it with modifications
- bonus tip: get a legacy sword or lightsaber to move hilts and get a blaster weapon to move barrels
- Legacy off-hand weapons etc are only found via the Gree vendor. Be aware that some things do not switch equally. A barrel in a vibroknife will not work in an off-hand blaster.
- Also remember that the Armor slot is specific to the gear location (i.e. a chest armor can ONLY transfer to another chest piece, but mods and enhancements can go to any piece)
